Accolades

-- Southwestern and the Family of Companies were honored as a founding charter member by the Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennesee on November 1st, 2011 during their 50th anniversary celebration.

-- To support the fight against breast cancer, Team Chest Nuts (comprised of four SBR employees and a friend) participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (www.avonwalk.org) in Charlotte, North Carolina. The walk is 39 miles and took place October 22 and 23, 2011. Team Chest Nuts raised $10,448 which supported the $1.75 million raised that weekend.  Congratulations Kay Linder, Stephanie Maas, Sue Meier, and Cathy Moll! 

-- The National Accounting and Banking Recruiting Network (NBN) honors the Banking and Commercial Finance Team at SBR as the Top Billing firm for the second year in a row

-- SBR's own Tim Knight, President of the Board of Directors of the Williamson County Habitat for Humanity, participates in the groundbreaking for large new Habitat subdivision

-- Banking and Commercial Finance team recruiter Christopher Fleming honored as Nashville Junior Chamber Member of the Year

-- Matt Lewis was recently named President of the Tennessee Recruiters Association.  Matt has been an active TRA board member since 2008 previously holding the positions of Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President.

Habitat Build Community service is an important part of the culture at Southwestern Business Resources. Employees are encouraged to participate in civic and charitable projects, both individually and through coordinated corporate events such as our annual United Way fundraising campaign and Habit for Humanity.
